Kirkland, Washington is a special place with wonderful parks, vibrant neighborhoods, and thriving urban centers. We want to ensure our City Council focuses on meeting the needs of the current residents who choose to live, work, and volunteer here while helping others find ways to make Kirkland their home. Our goal is to support thoughtful, sustainable, and necessary growth within our City.
We are a passionate, all-volunteer coalition of homeowners, renters, and concerned neighbors dedicated to growing an affordable, inclusive, and welcoming city.
Our advocacy focuses on responsible growth with adequate infrastructure. We support a transparent decision-making process that reflects the voices and needs of every resident.
Cherish Kirkland was started when a group of neighbors found out about alarming density increases proposed for our residential neighborhoods. United by our shared concern, we organized Cherish Kirkland to ensure our community is fully informed.
